On 9 July 2016 took place the handover ceremony of the mandate of President of the Rotary VARANA Club Focsani, from Past President Manuela Hornea to Carmen Ion, incumbent President for the Rotarian year 2016-2017.
The ceremony was preceded by a presentation made by the Past President who presented the projects that the Rotary VARANA Club has made in the Rotarian year 2015-2016. Then it followed the speech of Ms. Rodica Dinuta, Governor Assistant for the year 2016-2017, who transmitted the message to John Germ, Rotary International President, who believes that serving humanity is “an opportunity of a lifetime to change the world for the better forever through Rotary service for the humanity”.
Mrs. Carmen Ion, the new president of the Rotary VARANA Club Focsani, expressed the wish that the projects of the Club from the new rotarian year to come in the service of humanity and stressed that the areas to be targeted for community actions are education and health.
The ceremony was attended by Rotary’ s members and the members of Interact and Rotaract Focsani Clubs.
Rotary VARANA Focsani Club wishes good luck to the team in the new Rotarian year 2016-2017, team which is completed with new secretar in the person of Mrs. Marinela Macovei and the new treasurer in the person of Mr. Dorinel Modreanu.
