On November 26, 2019, the Rotary Club Focșani “Varana” had the special honor of receiving Marian Neagoe, the Governor of Rotary District 2241 – Romania and the Republic of Moldova 2019-2020, for the “Focșani Governorate”, for the “Governor’s Hour”. Alongside him was Assistant Assistant Governor Rodica Dinuță, who organized the “Governor’s Hour” during the weekly club meeting.
The Club’s projects that have been completed or are still in progress, as well as future initiatives to be implemented in the 2019-2020 rotary year, have been reviewed. At the meeting between the governor and the members of the Club, the importance of Rotary projects on our community was pointed out, and the governor of Rotary District 2241 made known a series of events that are taking place within the district. Also, DG Marian Neagoe also presented the vision of his mandate, drawing attention to Rotary International projects, actions that can motivate us to continue the rotary mission.
New ideas and future projects were presented by Rotary Club Focșani “Varana” in the 2019-2020 rotary year, which is under the sign “Rotary connects the world”, in order to integrate sustainable and impact projects, for to be with people and to change things for the better.
Members of Rotaract Varana Focsani and Interact Varana Focșani clubs also participated, and the atmosphere of friendship and optimism was combined with the importance of the projects carried out under humanitarian ideals.
