The Rotary Club VARANA Focșani was particularly honored to welcome Focșani, for the “Governor’s Hour”, to Mr. Cristian V. Jurji, Governor of Rotary District 2241 – Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
At the meeting between the governor and the members of the Club were presented the projects realized lately by Rotary VARANA, but also by the Rotaract clubs Varana Focsani and Interact Varana Focșani. The importance of these projects on the local community was emphasized, but also the fact that these efforts must be continued and supported, with confidence and involvement from all Rotarians.
New ideas and future projects will be presented, which will be carried out by the VARANA Focșani Rotary Club in the new Rotary Year 2018-2019, which is under the sign “be the inspiration”, in the sense of being with people, supporting them and to change things for the better.
The closest project of the Club is the 10th edition of the Charity Ball which will be organized on November 24, 2018, a special event that marks both the 10 years of existence of Rotary VARANA and the centenary year in which we celebrate the traditions and identity of generations.
The purpose of the Ball is to raise funds for the establishment and endowment of the Kinetotherapy Department within the Focșani Military Hospital, a much-needed endeavor for our community.
Through the generosity and attention of people like you we continue to realize projects that change many things for the better and that could help people or causes that really need help or support.
