County Library “Duiliu Zamfirescu” Vrancea and VARANA Rotary Club Focsani inaugurated the Multimedia Hall at the Foreign Language Center.
Through the goodwill of the main donor, VARANA Rotary Club, users in the Language Center and community members will benefit from a new service library, a multimedia room equipped with furniture and 7 computers fully equipped to meet the numerous requests. Besides free internet access, multimedia materials will be available from the Center`s fund, meaning conversation guides and dictionaries on CD, audio books, donated by American partner John Korst and many other materials held in electronic format. Also, users will be able to edit materials and themes with the possibility to copy them on CD, DVD or memory-stick, will be able to communicate with relatives and friends through the internet and webcam. The Language Center proposes a series of educational programs using volunteer teachers for computer learning and cultural activities in collaboration with various institutions in the country and abroad.
Multimedia room will open Wednesday, May 6, at 15.00 in the presence of Rotary Club members and their guests at the Language Center on str. Republicii no. 8, opposite to park Balcescu. The County Library and Rotary Club Focsani wait to be with all their friends!
