Also on Children’s Day this year, Rotary Club Focșani “Varana” had another reason to celebrate, being again with the six children with heart defects that it supported to be operated on in Israel during 2009-2010, within the project “Save a child’s heart”.
These children are part of a group of 50 from all over the country who benefited from the treatment of heart malformations during 2009-2014 and, in a beautiful Diamond Heart event organized at the “Luceafărul” Theater in Iași by the Rotary Club Iași 2000, were celebrated on June 4, 2022. The emotional moment was marked by watching the play “The Happy Prince”, a particularly attractive way to learn about generosity and sacrifice.
We mention the fact that Rotary Club Focșani “Varana” was involved throughout the postoperative period to support the six children, this project “Save a child’s heart” being another Rotary approach to do good and change destinies.
