On Thursday, April 16, 2020, the club made a donation to the St. Pantelimon Association, through which materials of strict necessity for medical personnel arrived at the destination, to protect as effectively as possible the people who are on the front line of the battle against the dreaded virus Covid 19.
A total of 250 sets of equipment were donated to St. Pantelimon Association consisting of: 1 waterproof suit, 1 pair of waterproof footwear and 1 protective mask, plus 1,500 sterile surgical gloves, were distributed to the Infectious Diseases, UPU, Ambulance Service Department and Polyclinic Triaj.
And next, Rotary Club Focșani “Varana” will be actively involved in the life of the Vrancea community, providing support in these delicate moments that our society is going through, knowing that the motto of Rotary clubs is “To serve above oneself”.
