The elderly have benefited from the help of volunteers who have managed, in a few hours to clean the entire unit, to mow grass, to install the electronics offered as donation, to cook meal, to talk to the elderly and to lay the foundations of which will be in the future, their library.
The beneficiaries of this aid received from the Rotary a festive meal, where they watched a show, ate delicacies and where they find out what it means to have part of an afternoon with a smile for eternity. Also, Rotary volunteers have cleaned the entire body of the building where are the wards for invalid persons, and toilets and garden related.
“Our intention is to manage to convey to as many people of good will to do something. You don’t need much money, you have just to wake up somehow the feeling that through volunteering you can make many beautiful things.”, highlighted ELENA STOICA, president of the club, mandate 2014-2015.
At that time, ROTARY VARANA FOCSANI founded “THE CLUB OF HOPE“.
