Charity Ball “Alege Viitorul”

Saturday, November 28th VARANA Rotary Club began a humanitarian action “Alege viitorul” which aimed to raise funds for 22 scholarships for 22 talented children with limited financial resources. The event, entitled “The future of a child is in your hands” took place at Hotel Fashion Center and gathered many people from all working fields in the city. The Charity Ball guests contributed financially to help the 22 children with intellectual and artistic abilities. Identification of gifted children program started last year and VARANA Rotary Club aims to involve as many selfless people to support the future of these gifted children. The funds raised will go to scholarships for the 22 exceptional children who cannot receive sufficient financial support from their families.

Rotary Club Focsani members are involved in many other charitable, voluntary and social responsibility actions. Club plans link to realize a large number of events and projects to help children and people who need financial and material support.
