What we propose
The Rotary Club Varana Focşani is concerned with the young generation. Over the past few years, we have helped promote culture among the young generation and support gifted children in carrying out personal projects. Currently, our concerns are directed towards “vocational assessment”, the purpose of which is to identify the fields of activity and professions for which the young person will be motivated to study and develop their professional skills, naturally obtaining high-performance results but also avoiding dramas such as abandoning their career after years of incompatibility with the field in which they work.
How the project will be carried out
The project aims to select a number of 30 children over the age of 14. High school students in grades 10 or 11 are preferred. The selection will be made at the request and with the consent of the family, in accordance with the established selection principles.
The evaluation of each participant selected by a team of specialists will be carried out in five stages:
a. meeting to get to know the young person together with the parents, or at least one of them;
b. evaluation of the child;
c. interpretation of the results and writing of the evaluation report;
d. child and parent feedback session;
e. follow-up session (optional) to refine the process of choosing the academic path and professional options.
What are the responsibilities?
The club will be in charge of selecting the participants in the evaluation project, will ensure a communication channel between the participating parties and will provide the necessary funds for the project.
The evaluation will be carried out by the Yourway Group, which has 15 years of experience in the field, being the first company in the country to assume this mission. It holds working licenses for 11 evaluation tools for minors and annually evaluates hundreds of children.
What is the duration of the project
The project will run according to an annual calendar, starting with the selection of participants and continuing with their evaluation.
We want the project to become one with continuity in the club, and the expected impact in the community we hope will impose it in this regard.
