County Emergency Hospital “St. Pantelimon”received 4 medical devices and Panciu Hospital received one medical device for newborn department. Through the club`s president, Mr. Marius Ulmeteanu and former presidents, Doru Simiz and Rodica Dinuta, this equipment was donated by VARANA Rotary Club Focsani to the Department of newborn and the Department of Pediatrics. These devices were absolutely necessary, especially since both hospitals lacked the equipment and will prove very useful in conditions in which many children are born with respiratory problems.
Devices that monitor and prevent apnea symptoms are great to worn the healthcare professionals carrying young children, from premature babies up to the one year old ones, because they are the most prone to respiratory infections. Managers of the two hospital thanked Rotary Club representatives for the donations and told that they hope in future collaboration.
Club president, Marius Ulmeteanu assured that Rotary Club will get involved in charity in the future and will support the community in this city.
